The society that takes action for biodiversity conservation in
Kenya. The Kenyan arm of the East Africa Natural History Society,
founded in 1909 to promote the understanding of nature in this
rich and diverse region. Today Nature Kenya is active in
on-the-ground conservation, advocacy, education, publication,
monitoring, research and training.
Membership is open to anyone interested in nature. Members come
from all over Kenya and the world, and from a great diversity of
backgrounds and professions.

AIMS
- To promote the study of natural history, and conservation of
the natural environment, in eastern Africa.
- To build a strong constituency for conservation and enhance
knowledge of Kenya's biological diversity
- To advocate for policies for biodiversity conservation and
promote conservation of key species, sites, and habitats
