ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF LONDON
|
Founded in 1826 by Stamford Raffles with the main aim of promoting
the worldwide conservation of animals and their
habitats. With scientists in the laboratory and the field, animal
management teams and veterinarians in both London Zoo and
Whipsnade Wild Animal Park there is a huge contribution of their
wide-ranging skills and experience to both practical conservation
and to the scientific research that underpins the work of ZSL.
The Society invites all those who back it's mission to support
vital conservation work by becoming a Fellow.
