For collecting invertebrates from grass and soft vegetation - this five-sided lightweight aluminium frame gives a better sampling sweep than circular frames. The net bags are made from fine nylon material and have a curved foot to stop insects escaping.

The small net is for student and field centre use and the medium for more professional users.

The heavy-duty sweep net is more suitable for use in xerophytic vegetation and coarse vegetation such as nettle and thistles. They are also more tolerant of `student' use.
