Missouri Botanical Garden Press Costa Rica is one of the few tropical countries to have an accurate count of its known flora; there are currently 9360 species of native, naturalised and commercially cultivated vascular plants. This is a series of illustrated identification manuals. Volumes 2 & 3 are in Spanish, with introductory material also in English; Volume 1 is in Spanish and English throughout. More volumes are in preparation. Forthcoming volumes in this series will be added to this page as soon as we
become aware of them.
